- Introduction
Quick Space (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Quick Space”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, and how we will use the information we collect from or about you on our websites (located at https://www.quickspacenevada.com or https://www.quickspace.com (collectively, the “Site”)), through written or verbal communications with us, when you visit one of our storefronts, or from other sources.
- Information We Collect
We collect personal information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“Personal Information”). The types of Personal Information we collect may include:
- Identifiers, which include your name, postal address, email address, unique personal identifiers, account name, driver’s license number*, social security number*, vehicle identification number and other similar identifiers. We collect identifiers such as name, address and contact information in order to provide you with our products and services. We may also collect your IP address and unique device identifiers when you visit our websites.
- The following categories of personal information described in California Civil Code § 1798.80(e): (1) the Identifiers listed above; (2) signature, (3) telephone number, (4) payment information* (which may include bank account number and/or credit or debit card number), (5) information obtained in connection with a credit check (if applicable in connection with services obtained from us), including financial information and education, employment and employment history.
- Commercial information, including records of products and services obtained from Quick Space and information about your purchasing preferences.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our websites, and advertisements.
- Geolocation data* in the form of the location of our rental equipment. This includes the geolocation of the rental equipment during your use of them.
- Audio information from calls made to our customer service centers or local stores, which may be recorded, video information in the form of CCTV at our local storefronts and electronic information in the form of Internet or other electronic network activity information as described above.
- Professional or employment-related information, in the form of business contact information and as noted above in connection with credit checks performed in connection with certain services.
- Inferences drawn from (1) the information we collect when you visit our, (2) information we collect, including through third-party suppliers, regarding content and other data posted on the Internet (such as public locations on the Internet) and (3) information about consumer preferences and behavior that we collect on our websites or purchase from third parties in order to create a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer’s preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior and attitudes.
- Information provided in response to surveys.
- Information provided when submitting any reviews or comments regarding our products or services.
The information marked with an asterisk (*) above is considered “sensitive information” under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Unless otherwise stated, we intend to retain the above information for as long as reasonably necessary to complete the purpose(s) for which the personal information was collected.
- How We Collect Information
We collect personal information that you provide to us, including information you submit to us when you use the Sites, rent equipment, or purchase other services from us. As you navigate through and interact with the Sites, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, online activities and browsing actions and patterns. We may collect this information directly or through third parties, including operating systems and platforms, social networks, internet service providers, data analytics providers or advertising networks.
- Cookies and Linked Sites
The technologies we use for automatic data collection on the Sites include cookies and web beacons. A cookie is a small text file placed on your device. A web beacon is a small electronic file (e.g., clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs) with a unique identifier that is used to understand browsing activity. We use data collected through these technologies, which we may supplement with other information such as location, to help us improve the Sites and to deliver a better and more personalized service.
Third-party cookies. Some content or applications on the Sites, including advertisements, are served by third parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, social media networks and application providers. These third parties may use cookies, alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies, to collect information about you when you use the Sites. The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based advertising or other targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies.
Linked Sites. The Sites may include links to other websites or content that belong to third parties. We are not responsible for personal information that you voluntarily disclose to such third parties, and we are not responsible for third party websites, content, or services. You should review the privacy policies associated with those third parties.
- How We Use Information
We may use personal information we collect to:
- Provide you with the Sites as well as with information, products, or services that you request from us.
- Complete transactions, including your rental or purchase of products and services.
- Provide customer and account services, such as notices regarding products and services or your account, including expiration and renewal notices.
- Comply with applicable laws, cooperate with investigations by law enforcement, and/or pursue our legal rights, including performing and enforcing our contractual obligations and rights, such as billing and collection.
- Evaluate and improve our products and services and/or develop new products or services.
- Tailor our marketing and advertising to you.
- Information We Share
We may disclose aggregated information about our users and information that does not identify any individual, without restriction.
We may disclose personal information as described in this Policy to the following:
- Contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and provide you with our products and services. These include but are not limited to companies that process, store, or transmit credit card information and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and secure, and to use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- Our customers in connection with services we provide to them, including information related to behaviors that occur during the use of the rented or purchased equipment.
- Buyers or other successors in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding in which personal information held by us is among the assets transferred.
- Government entities or other parties that comply with court order, law, or legal process, including responding to a government, court, or regulatory request.
- Government entities, third-party cybersecurity experts or other parties as necessary and appropriate to ensure the security and integrity of our networks, or otherwise protect the rights, property or safety of Quick Space, our customers, or others.
- Third-party entities to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements or otherwise protect or assert our legal rights, including for billing and collection purposes.
We may also disclose your personal information with your consent or for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
We may also share your personal information with data analytics providers for the purpose of targeted advertising.
- Sales of Personal Information
When we share information for purposes of targeted advertising or advertising networks, such sharing may be considered a “sale” of information under some state laws. You may request to opt out of such sharing of information.
- Children Under the Age of 13
The content of the Site is not targeted to or intended for children under 13 years of age. Quick Space does not market products or services to this age group and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on the Site about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address or any screen name or username you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. - Your Privacy Rights
Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Utah and Connecticut may have the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell; (2) request that we delete your personal information; (3) access and obtain a copy of your personal information that we collect; (4) request correction of inaccurate personal information; (5) opt out of targeted advertising; or (6) limit the use and disclosure of certain sensitive information. In addition, we may not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. We will honor your request to the extent required by applicable law and will make a good faith effort to honor your request in all other cases.
With respect to deletion requests, we cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. We may not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.

Please note that we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to information or acting on your request to exercise your rights, as required or permitted by law. We may limit our response to your exercise of the above rights as permitted by law.
You may designate an authorized agent to exercise the foregoing rights on your behalf. An agent may be an individual or a business entity registered with your Secretary of State. To designate an authorized agent, you must provide the agent with written permission to submit the request. We may still require you to verify your identity directly (subject to certain exceptions). We may refuse a request if the agent does not provide adequate proof of their authorization.
